Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of EstimateHQ ("the Service"), operated by EstimateHQ ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of the Service
EstimateHQ is a web-based estimating and takeoff platform for drywall and construction contractors. You may use the Service only for lawful business purposes. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must not:
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the Service
- Share your account credentials with third parties
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password. Notify us immediately at support@estimatehq.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3. Billing and Subscriptions
EstimateHQ is offered on a subscription basis at $49.99 USD per month.
- Free Trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. A valid credit card is required at signup. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.
- Billing: After the trial, your card is automatically charged monthly on the same date.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no refunds are issued for partial months.
- Failed Payments: If a payment fails, your account may be suspended until payment is resolved.
All prices are in US dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
4. Data and Privacy
Your project data, estimates, and settings are stored securely and are accessible only to you. We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect and use your information.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by EstimateHQ and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your account data (projects, estimates, client information) remains yours at all times.
6. Availability and Uptime
We strive to keep EstimateHQ available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice and are not liable for downtime or data loss caused by circumstances outside our control.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting support@estimatehq.app. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EstimateHQ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that any estimates or calculations produced are accurate for any particular purpose. You are responsible for verifying all estimates before use.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
