This Privacy Policy explains how EstimateHQ ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our service at estimatehq.app.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, company name, phone number, city, and region.
Business data: Projects, takeoffs, estimates, material catalogs, supplier information, client records, and labour rates you enter into the app.
Payment information: We collect your billing postal/ZIP code. Full card details are processed directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
Usage data: Basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to maintain and improve the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the EstimateHQ service
- To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
- To sync your data across devices
- To send you important account and billing notifications
- To respond to your support requests
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage
Your account and business data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Data is stored in data centres located in the United States.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — no raw card data ever touches our servers.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. You may request deletion at any time by contacting support@estimatehq.app.
5. Cookies
EstimateHQ uses browser localStorage (not traditional cookies) to store your session and app preferences locally on your device. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate EstimateHQ:
- Supabase — authentication and database storage
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Export your project data at any time

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
